A project is one job. Every record in Konverge (a daily log, a snag, a drawing, an RFI, a change order) belongs to a project, so the project hub is where you’ll spend most of your time.
Create a project
On the phone: open Projects and tap the add button. On the web: open Projects and choose New project.
Give it a name and a type, then the details you have: the site address (used for the weather on daily logs and for location checks at clock-in), start and finish dates, a description and, if you see money, the budget. You can fill the rest in later.
Then add the team: the people who’ll work on it. Members and viewers only see projects whose team they’re on.
The tabs
On the phone the hub has Overview, Schedule, Team, Site, Financials, Photos, Activity and Documents. People without See money figures don’t get Financials.
On the web there’s more room, so there are more tabs:
| Tab | What’s there |
|---|---|
| Overview | Progress, what’s due, open items and recent activity. |
| Tasks, Schedule, Calendar | Tasks, the programme (Gantt) and the project calendar. |
| Site | Daily logs, snags, inspections, incidents, field notes, permits, deliveries and materials. |
| Locations | Buildings, levels and rooms, with printable QR labels. |
| Documents, Drawings, Inbox | Project files, drawing sets and RFIs, submittals and approvals. |
| Photos | Every photo on the job, and photo reports. |
| Financials | Budget, cost, valuations and change orders (with See money figures). |
| Team, Organisations | Who works on the job, and the firms involved. |
| Meetings, Updates, Selections | Minutes, client updates and client choices. |
| Aftercare, Closeout | Defects after handover, and the handover pack. |
| Activity | Everything that happened on the project, newest first. |
Some tabs only appear when your company uses that feature.
The active project on the phone
When you open a project on the phone it becomes your active project. The header shows it, and Capture files photos, logs and notes against it. Change it by opening another project.
Archive or delete a project
When a job ends, archive it from the project’s actions. It leaves the default lists but stays searchable and readable, labelled Archived. Unarchive it and everything is as it was.
Only the owner can delete a project, by typing its name to confirm. Konverge refuses if money records (invoices, payments, valuations) are linked to it, because they belong to your books. Keep such a project archived instead.
Good to know
- An admin can delete the sample project from onboarding.
- Everything you see in a project is filtered by your role. If a tab or record is missing, ask an owner or admin to check your role and project access.
