Konverge is one system with two front doors. A snag raised on a phone on site shows up on the web in the office straight away, and the other way round. You sign in to both with the same phone number or email address.
Today: the iPhone and Android apps are on their way to the App Store and Google Play. Until then, use Konverge in the browser on any phone at app.getkonverge.com: it needs a connection, but everything in “On both” and “Web only” below works there. getkonverge.com/app has the latest. The “Phone only” list is what the apps add when they arrive.
On both

Phone only (in the apps, coming soon)
- Working without signal. The phone saves your work and sends it when signal comes back. The web needs a connection. See Working offline.
- Capture: the camera, several photos at once, voice notes.
- Clocking in with your location, and kiosk mode for the site sign-in book.
- Scanning location QR labels.
- App lock with fingerprint, face or PIN.
- Transferring ownership of the company. Until the apps are out, the owner emails support@getkonverge.com and we make the transfer.
Web only
- Setting up: the guided company set-up and the sample project.
- Document control set-up: folder templates, naming rules, workflow templates and issuing transmittals.
- Permit set-up: appointing Authorised Persons and attaching RAMS.
- Photo reports as PDFs.
- Importing from spreadsheets, and exporting all your company’s data.
- Accounting connections (QuickBooks, Xero), API keys and webhooks.
- Plan and billing by card, invoices and receipts.
- The audit log of changes to members, roles, invites and billing.
Which should I use?
On site, use a phone: today in its browser, and once the apps arrive, in the app, which is quicker, works in a basement with no signal, and has the camera right there. In the office, use the web: big tables, keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + K, or ⌘ + K on a Mac, jumps to anything), and printing.
Good to know
- In the apps, some settings say “Change this in Konverge on the web”. That’s deliberate: they’re the kind of thing you set once, at a desk.
