This article is still being written. Here is what it will cover, so you know what Konverge does today.

What this article will cover

  • Which files work: MS Project XML, P6 XER, and CSV or Excel task lists.
  • Saving an XML file from Microsoft Project, and an XER file from P6.
  • The preview: what was read, what was skipped and why, before anything is saved.
  • How tasks, milestones, dates and links come across, and what doesn’t.
  • Undoing an import, and importing an updated programme.
  • Importing other registers from a spreadsheet, such as contacts and equipment (Import on the register).

In the meantime

On the web, open the project’s Schedule tab and choose Import a programme or task list. Nothing is saved until you confirm the preview.

If you need a hand now, email support@getkonverge.com and we’ll walk you through it.
